Meet Aloysius Brewer, Our Founder
Aloysius Brewer created DragonScape after studying with the Department of Water and Power in Los Angeles and seeing how thoughtful design allows gardens to survive intense Southern California summers. Those early lessons combine with a childhood spent across from the Joshua Tree monument headquarters, where desert landforms and plant communities showed how water, shade, and soil work together. Today, that mix of practical water education and lived desert experience guides every DragonScape project, keeping stormwater logic, native plants, and long-term resilience at the center of our work.
